Sumptuous Wine Dinner

A SUPERB WINE DINNER SET FOR MONDAY, APRIL 27

This elegant and delicious dinner will be catered by one of Cedar City’s up-and-coming new chefs, Danny Hall. The four-course meal will be truly delicious and will pair with terrific European wines and their American equivalents made by IG Winery. This dinner will be conducted by our wine educator, Sheral Schowe, of the Wasatch Academy of Wine.

First course: Salad of fresh local lettuces, local Feta cheese, walnuts and pork belly crouton paired with IG Riesling and German Riesling. Second course: Wild Mushroom Risotto paired with IG Chardonnay and Bourgogne Blanc. Third course: Roasted Lamb Chop with strawberry balsamic drizzle and asparagus paired with IG Tempranillo and Rioja. Fourth course (prepared by pastry chef Ginger Hall): Chocolate coffee stout cake with fresh berries and mint paired with IG late harvest Zinfandel.

This dinner will be at Cedar City’s most elegant B&B, the Iron Gate Inn. located at 100 N 200 W. It will start at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $65 per person and are available here: http://goo.gl/Kwxnwb.
